A parachute for the Brownies!

2nd Hebden Bridge Brownies are a group of girls aged 7-10 who meet every Tuesday in term time in central Hebden Bridge. They complete badges, play games, go on pack holidays, learn life skills and lots more!

Brownies gives young members a safe space to have fun, learn new things, grow in confidence and keep the Brownie Promise of supporting the local community.

Following their recent £250 grant from the Rotary Club of Hebden Bridge they have just had delivery of their new equipment including the parachute, balls, hoops, and crafts such as paper, pens etc.

Organiser Jade says: “We are so excited to be able to have bought a parachute which is what the Brownies really wanted and are so looking forward to having hours of fun with it!!

Jade adds “If you have a young girl who would like to join our Brownie Pack please head to the girl guiding website https://www.girlguiding.org.uk/what-we-do/brownies/ and we will be in touch!”
