We are delighted to announce the approval of a £1,000 grant to the 1st Heptonstall Guides & Rangers to support the final stage of their project to replace worn-out camping equipment. This fantastic group provides inclusive opportunities for local girls aged 7–18. Their ethos focuses on building confidence, independence, resilience, and outdoor skills through adventurous and community-centred activities.

Thanks to previous Rotary support and their incredible fundraising efforts, the group has already replaced their tents. This new funding will allow them to purchase vital cooking equipment, gas adapters to enhance safety, and hammocks with tarps — ensuring cost is never a barrier to participation. We're proud to support a group that nurtures the next generation of young women leaders, promoting citizenship, health, wellbeing, and community inclusion.
