Principle Trust Children’s Charity

We’re delighted to share that the Rotary Club of Hebden Bridge has approved a £2,000 grant for The Principle Trust Children Charity to provide funding for four disadvantaged, disabled, traumatised, or seriously ill children from our local area, and their families, to enjoy a week-long respite break.

The Principle Trust strives to make a positive and meaningful difference to children who could have life limiting conditions, complex and difficult disabilities, live in poverty, or have experienced trauma or abuse. The Principle Trust’s respite breaks give the opportunity for children just to be children and to simply enjoy their time away with their family.

Linda Yates, on behalf of the Principle Trust said “On behalf of the children that the Rotary Club’s generous donation will help, thank you for helping us to make memories that last a lifetime”.

The Principle Trust Has already raised over £1.7 million and given more than 5,000 children the chance to relax, play and simply be kids. They operate a 100% donations policy, meaning every penny supports families directly—not overheads.
