The Rotary Club of Hebden Bridge is proud to support the Peter Marsland Trophy, taking place at Brearley Fields on Saturday 1st November, with kick-off at 2:00 PM.

This annual event, hosted by Hebden Bridge Saints AFC, brings together the local football community in memory of Peter Marsland, a much-loved Rotarian and football enthusiast who gave many years of service to our club and community. Peter was passionate about supporting young people and local sport — values that continue to inspire this event.

Rotary donated the trophy itself, along with an annual £100 towards the support of the junior teams. The day will feature three matches honouring three past Saints stalwarts, with refreshments, a football card, and donation buckets to help raise funds for youth football.

Here are the formidable Saints’ U7 Falcons in their kit, purchased with help from Rotary — a tribute not only to Peter’s legacy but also to the spirit of teamwork and community he championed.
